Healthcare Security and Compliance Practice Leader, Western US

Description-

You are an accomplished security professional and have been active in the hospital/healthcare security arena.  Experience as a CISO or Director of Security in a hospital operation, or with a recognized security company, or equivalent.  You are versed in and current on compliance, security and privacy law.  And, you are now ready to continue your career and build a world-class hospital security practice.

This is an opportunity to take a small successful division and turn it into a national going concern.  The stage has been set.  We have a good customer and contact base to work from and co-marketing agreements in place with security vendors.  We are seeking a real “go getter” leader to take the reigns of this division and run with them.

Requirements:

Appropriate certification (CISA, CISM, etc)

5-7 years as a CISO, Director of Security, or equivalent in hospitals

Ability to lead a team of security engineers and analysts

Proven business development skills

Demonstrable understanding of Information Technology in Hospitals including EMR’s, networking, PHI, PCI-DSS.

Responsibilities:

This position reports to the CEO and will have P+L responsibility

Build a book of business, responsible for managing $3-$5mm yearly

Client facing skills in communication/education

Team building and managing skills

Reside in the western US, preferably CA, AZ, NV

Willing to travel up to 80% when necessary
